to mr. medical...how can i fix my dell laptop when there is no boot devices found?

Best answer:
Oh dear! 2 things to try first;
1 Has the hard drive got dislodged? It will be under a panel on the base of the computer, just make sure it's pushed home.
2 Enter your BIOS at startup and see if a hard drive can be detected from there and if it can is it in the boot sequence.

If neither of these produce a result then you need a new hard drive and everything on the old one is lost.Your hard drives dead buddy, either that its the connector to the hard drive. Only way to FIX your laptop is to get a new hard drive, you will lose all your data..
