Is it normal for an Aerochamber, for inhalers, to get cloudy?

Best answer:
yes. it is normal for it to get cloudy. i used 1 when i was little and it got cloudy all the time because as the medicine floats through it hits the sides of the aerochamber. just like the inhailer itself. if you look at the cover of it you can see its white from the usage. its ok to wash it. maybe every other week, nothing will happen, its not ruined, its just the extra medicine that didnt quite make it to the other side.

AeroChamber Max

The industry-standard AeroChamber MAX* VHC builds on the experience Trudell Medical International (TMI) has gained since 1980 in developing and manufacturing innovative aerosol drug delivery devices and systems. This experience includes the most commonly-prescribed valved holding chamber in the world, the AeroChamber Plus* VHC. Subject to a physicians direction, the AeroChamber MAX* VHC can be used with all commonly prescribed, pressurized metered dose inhalers. No matter what medical formulations have been prescribed to you for pressurized metered dose inhaler (pMDI) delivery, you can depend on the AeroChamber MAX* VHC, to provide consistent aerosol drug delivery. Your doctor will prescribe the model that works best for you. Older children (five years and up) and adults who can form a seal around the mouthpiece, often use the AeroChamber MAX* VHC with mouthpiece. The AeroChamber MAX* VHC with adult ComfortSeal* mask is ideal for older patients who have problems using a pMDI mouthpiece. The AeroChamber MAX* VHC with infant mask has been designed for infants zero to eighteen months and the AeroChamber MAX* VHC with child mask for children one to five years.
