how do I start curbside recycling in my town? I live in Ridgecrest, CA

Start a petition to get it put on the ballot. If it gets that far try to get people to vote for it. If it passes get out your checkbook since its going to cost money.contact city hall and your local ocuncilperson to make it happen. it takes an upfront investment on their part and homeowners would probably have a tax assessment to cover it, but so worth it.Get everyone to listen even if they don't care!

Post flyers around town.
Write city concil a letter to persuede them to start recycling.
Start a petition and try to get everyone to sign it.
