If I keep redying my hair will the color catch soon?
Best answer:
If you continue to dye it over and over again in a short period of time, it'll probably turn dull and rough and/or fall out. Talk to a professional hair stylist (who can examine your hair personally) before messing with it too much!If you keep dying your hair your hair will be dry and damaged. It will keep fading and it only really looks good for a week after you dye it.The color will never stay. Also your hair will grow back darker no matter what color you dye it and there's a good chance you will have 'spotty' looking hair. I would reccommend dying it only once every three months if you reallllllyy like this color. However you will probably be ready for yet another change by the time three months rolls around. (personal experience) Another thing is you probably wont get exactly what youre hoping for when you dye your hair. Depending on what your natural hair color or current hair color is, you may get darker than you wanted or lighter than you wanted. For example, Im a brunette, If I tried to dye my hair blonde it would only take my hair a couple shades darker. Dont dye it too much though as this can be very harmful to you and your hair. (the dye contains harmful chemicals and also your hair could start to fall out, or you could get dead/split ends)Your link doesn't work.
So anyway, I don't know what you mean by the colour will "catch"? There is nothing you can ever do to change the fact that your roots will grow in your natural colour. What people do is get a "root touchup" every month or few weeks or so... usually a root touchup is done between 2 weeks (very short) and 2 months (pretty long), with about 3-4 weeks being average I think.
