What are some foods that you loved as a child that are hard to find now?

Best answer:
i remember the circus animal crackers
ive been trying to find them foreverZero bars. They were like sort of reverse snickers, with white chocolate covering and a nougaty filling with caramel. I sometimes see them in wal*mart.

Also Chik-o-stix. Which I think are impossible to find here in Southern California. I guess it's a regional thing because every time I drive back up towards central cali and the bay area, I find them pretty easily at gas stations.Well I grew up in another country so just about everything. Fig flavored candies and nougats specifically. And horse meat.I know. They finally lose out. I used to love Whip N Chill, now you make it with pudding and cool whip.

I miss a certain Little Debbie Cupcake that was popular back in the middle sixties.

We had moon pies that were a lot bigger than the ones you find in the grocery now.

I can't find some of Brach's candies anymore like I used to buy when I was a kid.

Back in the 70's there was a food product called, Spreadables. I loved the chicken variety. It made great sandwiches.

A local BBQ and BBQ chips were Hessmers brand. It was delicious!

There was a dry granular chocolate product that you could add to milk to make chocolate milk called PDQ. It stood for Pretty Darn Quick. It was so good.

Those are a few I can remember.
