Best Salt/Mineral block?

ohhhh sorry you dont have the best blocks --- we always used ohlssens blocks -- from boggabri nsw --- if you look around you might be lucky to find them --- i think they had them in 20 or 25 kg blocks --- i know they were heavy but the sheep, goats, cattle and horse loved them :PI like the fourth one. I'm not sure what a brine block is but I wouldn't get it if you don't find out. I don't like feeding my horse salt blocks that are colored. I don't know why but it bothers me. lol. Salt is salt and should remain white.In my area there is iodine deficiency in the grasses and hays, so I prefer an iodized salt block. Iodine is essential to form thyroid hormones.
I provide a trace mineral block separately from my salt block, so the horses have a choice of either. so I would choose one iodized salt block, and one trace mineral block. In my experience, both blocks are used by the horses.Horses need salt to balance the high level of potassium in their diet.

I always bought a plain iodized salt block, because my horses would not use the mineralized one....I had one horse who did not like salt at all, and would actually get dehydrated. I had to add table salt to her feed.

If you keep the salt block up off the ground, it will last longer (I kept mine in a plastic milk crate.)
