Try freebrezsdont be cheap and go out and buty it for its real price. Amazon is for cheap ppl. (im a hippocarte for calling you cheap cuz i myself am cheap) but i wouldnt go that low.You can try frabreez (I think I butchered the name, lol). If that does not work, I would contact the merchant. Truely that cannot be what the product is suppose to smell like if it is making you sick. There could be the possibility that it is a defective product. I would try looking the merchants return policies and then contact them regarding either exchanging it or returning it.

Good Luck to you!!!!smells like what a plastic or new type odor?? air it out for a few days, hose it down with febreze , and air it outside again for a few days.. and it should be ok enough then.. we had to do that to a new couch because it smelled like plastic from the cover so bad
