Is Canidae Dog Food now produced by Diamond Foods?

Certainly, only the lamb and rice was changed, and that for the better.
I have not heard that they are bought by Diamond - are you sure that's true?I'm hoping not...I actually sent them an e-mail (From their contacts page) yesterday, but haven't heard back.

I found out it is made by Diamond. I will continue to feed it because my dogs are doing really well on it.This is news to me.

I am a big fan of Canidae, as are my dogs. :-) Our GSD's skin & coat really improved when we switched, and both dogs have less gas.

I would do some research before changing brands.

As I understand it the recall involved shady practices involving Chinese companies using supplements containing Melamine to boost protein numbers?

I'll be disappointed if I have to change but my local feed store sells their own brand that looks pretty good and Kirkland has a good looking ingredients list at 1/2 the price of Canidae.

So I guess my answer is "no." I'm not going to switch just because of an ownership change but I'll be paying attention for sure.
